PALM Practitioner Steps for Certification

Complete the Prenatal and Labor Massage Doula (PALM) 3-day
Training Requirements


  • Obtain Infant/Child CPR Certification
  • Obtain 3 evaluations from 3 prenatal/labor massage clients that you have worked with. Including both pregnancy and labor aspects.
  • Complete a self-evaluation after working with each of the required prenatal/labor massage clients.
  • Pass a multiple-choice test that includes information learned from the PALM Practitioner 3-day training with a 75% or better.
  • Obtain Insurance as a PALM Massage Doula (if you do not have a policy that covers you already?
  • Massage Therapist/Bodyworkers/Somatic Practitioners must also attend the online CPI Doula Certification course.

You have 2 years from the time of your PALM Training to complete the requirements mentioned.
